Lilia Fromm

Marketing (Consumer Behavior) PhD student

Foster School of Business, University of Washington

I’m a first-year PhD student in Marketing at UW’s Foster School of Business.

My research interests focus on consumers’ perceptions of time (and time usage), sense of self, well-being, motivation, and goal pursuit; together these interests relate to how consumers construct a sense of meaningfulness from experiential consumption.

Prior to graduate school, I attended Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. I graduated summa cum laude with Distinction in Research, a concentration in Services Marketing, and a minor in Psychology. My honors thesis analyzed repeat photo-taking behavior on social media and consumers’ perceived authenticity of the experience.
